A steady hand in tender places.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor and Director with over 20 years of experience, I’ve had the honor of walking alongside individuals and families through some of their most complex emotional landscapes.

I offer trauma-informed therapy, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) — a modality that supports healing for those who may not have words for what they’ve experienced. I believe therapy should honor your pace, your truth, and your vision of wellness. You are not a diagnosis. You are a story still unfolding — and I’m here to help you hold it.

Yoga for Emotional Wellness

Let your body exhale what words cannot.

Healing isn’t always about what we say — sometimes, it’s about what we feel and where we hold it. As part of my integrative approach to wellness, I also offer yoga-based practices through Bayoga, a space dedicated to emotional regulation, nervous system balance, and grounding through movement.

Warm & Relational (Balanced Professional Tone)

My therapeutic approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I integrate evidence-based modalities while remaining attuned to the whole person. When appropriate, humor is intentionally used as part of the therapeutic process—to build connection, reduce shame, and create moments of relief that support insight, regulation, and healing. Therapy can be meaningful and transformative while still allowing space for authenticity, lightness, and laughter.

Trauma-Informed & Somatic Lens

Therapy is a space for depth, safety, and growth. My work is grounded in trauma-informed care and recognizes that healing occurs not only through insight, but through connection and nervous system regulation. Humor, when clinically appropriate, is thoughtfully incorporated to help ease tension, foster rapport, and support emotional flexibility—without minimizing pain or lived experience.

Direct & Clear

I provide therapy that is thoughtful, culturally responsive, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Sessions are collaborative and reflective, and humor is used as a therapeutic tool when appropriate to support connection, perspective-taking, and emotional resilience.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time—moments of humor and levity can coexist with deep, meaningful clinical work.
My Philosophy & Approach

Being a clinician isn’t about the 50-minute session. It's about showing up completely - emotionally and mentally. It's about offering kindness when you want to be understood. Offering silence when you want to stay in your thoughts. Offering my full attention so that you can fully heal.

When I take time off, it’s to care for myself so I can be fully present with you.

“Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken. It’s about returning to what feels whole — even if that means beginning again.” — Colette
