Clarifying Intern vs. Associate Services (Website / Informed Consent Language)

Graduate Intern Services

Graduate interns are enrolled in accredited graduate programs and are completing required practicum or internship hours. They work closely with licensed supervisors who oversee assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and clinical decision-making.

Pre-Licensed Associate (Trainee) Services

Pre-licensed associates have completed their graduate degrees and are accruing supervised clinical hours toward licensure. They practice with greater autonomy while still receiving required licensed supervision.

Both interns and associates provide care that meets ethical, legal, and professional standards.
